About Me
I began my journey into counselling working at a local charity which supported people with mental and physical health difficulties. I have been a Samaritan for several years, and run confidence building courses for both adults and young people.
My initial training was in CBT, but I decided I would like to become a psychotherapeutic counsellor, working from a holistic place of looking at past and present experiences.

I hold a first class degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling from Middlesex University, and a Level 5 in Counselling Children and Young People (OCN), as well as an Integrative Sex and Couples Certificate (CSTIP). I have also completed several specialist courses, including a Certificate in Trauma Treatments from the British Psychological Society, attachment-based Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples in Crisis, and a Diploma in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders from NCFED. I have undertaken the first two parts of the EMDR Accredited training, and am able to offer this in sessions.

I also teach on a counselling diploma at a local college.

I am an accredited member of the BACP and I abide by their Code of Ethics to ensure I am working ethically, creating a collaborative and positive relationship with my clients.
